Gnomes v. Faeries

WARNING: This report contains extreme violence from the very beginning! APOLOGY : I was trying out a new battle mat this game. Unfortunately, it gave out a lot of glare, which spoils some of the pictures. Faeries Gwendoline Slivertongue Fencer Fraya Diana Wasp Gnomes Mama Gimble Gradock Muridae Billy Morris Young Jack The moonstone scatter is pretty even. Looks like this will be  balanced game. Turn 1 Gwendoline, Slivertongue, Morris and Mama Gimble all set to harvesting. Wasp moves up to guard a moonstone, only for Billy to attack him with ramming speed, dealing 2 damage, which Fraya immediately heals, before dealing 3 damage to Billy with fizzle-pop . Gradock snare traps Wasp, bluffing a green 1. Wasp reaction steps to re-engage Billy, so he cannot harvest next turn. Diana casts horrifying visions on Billy, wounding Wasp to take extra cards. She plays a pink 2, reducing Billy to 2 wounds. Muridae rushes up to support him. Young Jack helps Gradock with his harvest ...

Leshavult v Goblins Zorya Danica Antonia Kavanagh Beast Wendigo Firespitter Beaky Bobby Seasick Stu Boob Boom McBoom El Capitano Vicious Midget The goblins win the roll-off and choose the side, giving themselves the slight advantage of having four moonstones closer to them and slightly less deep. Turn 1 Zorya begins in a typical witchy way, using Visions of the Future on Danica, triggering her catastrophe to wound and distribute energy to the rest of the troupe. They use this to surge forward this turn. Firespitter responds by targeting Zorya, dealing and additional 2 damage. Antonia tries to heal her, but is caught in a bluff and end up reducing her fellow witch to only two wounds! Beaky Bobby is the first to fully harvest a moonstone. He also shouts at Firespitter, pushing him further towards the Leshavult line. El Capitano waits patiently for the Beast to finish his activation, before taking a shot with his pistol.
